About The Girl Who Can’t Help It

My name is Sara.

I hold two degrees in Journalism, one from the Scottish Centre for Journalism Studies at Strathclyde University in Glasgow, Scotland, and the other from Marymount College of Fordham University in Tarrytown, New York. Both are defunct. You might say I shut places down. What can I say? Nobody can follow this act.

I am passionate about all things vintage (visit my eBay store – Sold! By Sara STAY TUNED!) and I fervently believe that great style is inherent and cannot be bought. Try as many might.

Someone once referred to me as a ‘one-girl army’. Sounds about right. I’m quite passionate about animal rights and environmental issues – i.e. I’m  vegan and I own soy-based underpants.

I’m unimpressed by most people I encounter, and most things. Sorry, but at least I’m honest. I don’t like phoneys, girls that put on fake voices to get attention (or manic-pixies for that matter), one-uppers, and people that can’t appreciate silence. Silence can be quite golden.

As for a few more mottos I subscribe to…

If you don’t have anything nice to say, come sit next to me;

and most definitely:

There is no shortcut to any place worth going.
