I would expect Douglas Coupland to have an amazing home. Against banality and all for visual enthusiasm, Coupland has sprinkled his dwelling with nods to other artists (Hirst, for one, with the wall of thread spools), pieces of pop culture (that’s a Mouse Trap game on the dining table), and his own work (enlarged fabric softener bottle).
I love his work, and now I envy his home. If you haven’t read any of work, I have to suggest Life After God, School Spirit (I bought mine in Paris!), and of course Microserfs.
